I am Ben Johnson, a Certified EOS Implementer® based in Meridian, Idaho. I help business owners and leadership teams implement EOS®, the Entrepreneurial Operating System®, so they can get clearer, execute with more discipline, build a healthier team, and create more freedom in their lives.
I'm from Idaho
Idaho is not only where I live. It is home.
I grew up here as the youngest of five kids and the son of potato farmers. I worked on the family farm while I was growing up. That experience taught me how to work hard, solve problems, and keep looking for better ways to get the job done. Farming requires ingenuity because the conditions do not always cooperate and the work still has to happen.
One of the many lessons I learned from my dad was how to start and run a business. My sister and I put that lesson to work by starting a lawn mowing business while we were in high school. We ran it for many years through high school and college. It gave me an early opportunity to experience the responsibility, problem-solving, and satisfaction that come with building something of your own.
My career later took me to New York and San Francisco, but Idaho brought me home.
Idaho has shaped my life outside business, too. I have always loved the outdoor opportunities in our mountains, rivers, and lakes, especially water and snow sports. I am proud to have grown up here and grateful to call this wonderful place home.
Those early experiences are one reason I feel at home with entrepreneurs. I understand the pride of building something, the pressure of being responsible for the outcome, and the instinct to keep working until the problem is solved.

It begins with a free 90-Minute Meeting. I meet with your leadership team, explain the EOS Model®, the EOS Process, and the EOS Toolbox™, and learn what you want from the business. The purpose is not to pressure you into a decision. It is to give both of us enough information to decide whether there is a fit.
If there is a fit, the working relationship begins with Focus Day®. Your team starts establishing clearer accountability, a short list of priorities, a useful weekly view of the business, and a stronger meeting rhythm.
Vision Building® sessions help the leadership team get on the same page about where the company is going and how it plans to get there. Quarterly and Annual Sessions then give the team a steady cadence for reviewing progress, solving Issues, and deciding what matters next.
Between sessions, your leadership team runs the company. My role is to teach, facilitate, and coach. I help the team learn the system, have the conversations it may struggle to facilitate for itself, and build the discipline to use EOS well.
Why my background matters to Idaho leadership teams
Before becoming an EOS Implementer, I spent nearly two decades as a consultant, owner, and operator. I have sat in the Visionary, Integrator, sales, operations, and finance seats. I have used EOS from inside businesses, not only from the front of a session room.
I also understand the financial side of growth. I spent ten years in Deloitte advisory work, helped scale a real estate business more than tenfold, raised over $100 million in debt and equity capital, and co-founded a private equity fund focused on acquiring and growing small businesses in Idaho.
Those experiences shape the questions I ask. A growing company does not only need a clearer Vision and stronger execution. Its leaders also need to understand how everyday operating decisions affect profit, cash, risk, and the options available to the owner.
I will not step into the business and make those decisions for you. My job is to help your leadership team become better at seeing the business clearly, getting to the root of its Issues, deciding together, and following through.

I am based in Meridian and welcome conversations with entrepreneurial leadership teams in the Boise area, the Treasure Valley, and throughout Idaho. I also offer virtual sessions for teams whose leaders are spread across the state or beyond it.
The right format depends on the team. Some leadership teams do their best work together in a room. Others already operate across several locations and benefit from a virtual format that matches how they work every week.
The location matters less than the team's willingness to be present, open, honest, and ready to do the work.
Is your Idaho business ready for EOS?

No. I am based in Meridian and work with leadership teams in the Boise area, across Idaho, and virtually. We can discuss the best session format for your location and leadership team.
