Use AI for a guided Clarity Break
Copy this into the AI tool you use. It will ask one question at a time and help you discover your own answer.
Coach me through a self-assessment of the Five Leadership Practices described in How to Be a Great Boss: giving clear direction, providing the necessary tools, letting go of the vine, acting with the greater good in mind, and taking Clarity Breaks. Ask one question at a time and require a recent example for each practice. Then ask what my team would likely say and where my behavior may contradict my message. Do not flatter me or score me from insufficient evidence. At the end, identify the practice with the strongest evidence of needing attention, summarize the impact, propose three observable behaviors I could test, and help me choose one commitment to ask the team to hold me accountable for.
Use judgment with confidential information. Keep names, personal details, and sensitive company data out of a public AI tool unless your organization has approved that use.

- Where am I holding on instead of letting go of the vine?
- When have I put my preference ahead of the greater good?
- Am I taking enough time away from the noise to think clearly?
